Bevel’s Angle – Post 1
Work Hard, Nap Hard
Ever since I was a puppy, I have been wanting to share my life and my thoughts with you through words! Now that I have just had my first birthday, it’s time to begin this journey…
As many of you know, I am incredibly hard-working. I constantly inspect the LifeStyle property for hazards. In fact, just the other day, I found a mud hole that could have caused someone to slip or twist an ankle!
Quickly, and without hesitation, I jumped in and rolled around in that hole until the mud was all dried up. Then, just like all good employees do, I informed the boss of the potential hazard I had seen, you know, so he can mitigate against future issues. I could tell he was pleased with my work because he promptly spent some one-on-one time with me and gave me a bath. He’s always good about taking time out for his team. Lori was there too, and she had the biggest smile on her face when she saw me outside the design studio – it feels good to know I am helping our LifeStyle family.
I spent the rest of the day patrolling our new design studio for any toys that were misbehaving and, in the afternoon, our newest employee, Ryan, came by and hung out with Lori and me. I was happy to show him around again and give him some tips while he shot video footage for his “Daily Thought”. At the end of the day, I was excited to go home and relax, but then I was surprised with some awesome news… we were going down to the lake for the weekend!! Oh boy was I excited… I could hardly contain myself!
Fortunately, I’m super energetic and the time it took to drive there flew by. It was so much fun hanging out with the family surrounded by the trees and the water, however, keeping them all in line and safe is a lot of work – the McNulty’s are a full-time job!
Harleigh was able to join us as well at the lake; she just recently returned from doing mission work in South Africa, Ecuador, and Cambodia! She is so much fun to hang out with and she had a great time at the lake too.
There is one thing about her that I’m still trying to figure out. For some reason, she is always throwing my toys and sticks, so I am frequently having to go pick them up and bring them back.
Luckily, I’ve got stamina and she eventually wore herself out. I too decided a nap would be a good idea, just so I’m prepped for the evening watch – you never know when a raccoon is gonna trespass and eat my yummy snacks!
All in all, it was a fantastic weekend and I almost made it out without a single embarrassing photo of myself…
I know where you sleep, Lori!
Thank you for reading my very first blog post. Check back in next Wednesday for more stories, opinions, and exciting adventures. I hope you have a fun-filled week and stay safe!
Whoof wishes,
Bevel
