Working From Home
Oh boy do I have some things to tell you. To begin, my beautiful office is under construction! I know… I just came into work one day and BOOM… walls were missing, and drywall debris was everywhere. Fortunately, my toys were safe in Lori’s design studio, but after spending a day in construction, I decided I should work from home – I kept being tempted to eat the drywall and with beach season around the corner, I’m watching my figure.
However, before I could even think about working from home, I needed to get into the right frame of mind… with a MANI-PEDI party of course!
“What do Kevin and manicurists have in common? They both work with nails!”
I crack myself up…
Anyway, Kevin is king of the nails and has that magic touch for shaping mine just right. After he finished up, I still
was not quite ready to work, so I treated myself to a nap. I love naps.
I eventually got back into my routine and got a whole bunch of work accomplished. I really enjoy learning about our homes and since we have a couple of brand-new floor plans, I took this opportunity to get to know them better.
They are called the Madison and the Hampshire.
Between the two, I am still torn as to which is my favorite. They are similar in size and both come with 4 bedrooms and an office.
One of my favorite features of the Madison is the size of its pantry! Holy smokes, the amount of dog cookies I could hide in there is incredible. Also, all the bedrooms upstairs have large walk-in closets which is perfect for playing hide-and-go seek after testing the durability of the couch pillows.
Now, the Hampshire offers a first-floor owner’s suite, which for me, is a big deal! Being vertically challenged makes each step a nuisance, so to not require going up them to sleep would be lovely. The home also offers a large rec room and a great deal of unfinished storage, which is perfect for storing all my holiday decorations, such as chewed on candy canes and Santa outfits.
I think I will have to go give each home a good sniff to really make my decision…
Thank you so much for hanging out with me today and reading my blog. Have a fabulous week and stay safe.
Bark regards,
