From the Desk of Bevel (The Dog) – Parade of Home Awards

Hi! It’s Bevel, the Boston Terrier puppy who just happens to be the personal assistant to the president of LifeStyle Home Builders, or as I like to call him, Dad. He’s a great Richmond home builder and he’s teaching me the ropes of the business. I’m also trying to become Chief Morale Officer, making both our staff and our customers happy. It’s been pretty easy to do so far, in my fairly short time here with the company. With the recent Richmond Parade of Homes, my job just got even easier!

You see, LifeStyle Home Builders entered three homes in this year’s Richmond Parade of Homes. I like to visit the homes we build and see them going up, from the ground up. So many cool sights and smells and plenty of belly rubs from everyone involved. I also love to see the finished product, especially when my mom has been busy in the Design Studio coming up with great finishes for the model homes. Everyone obviously did a great job, because we won all sorts of prizes!

There are always awards given out at the Richmond Parade of Homes, and while I think they should have one for Cutest Canine Builder Assistant, I’m still pretty happy with the categories they do have. Especially since all three of the homes we entered won awards in their categories. That deserves plenty of celebratory woofs — and treats. Never forget the treats!

This year, the Bronte Model Home at Holloway community won Best Curb Appeal and the Silver Award! The Sutherland Model Home in the Highlands community also won Best Curb Appeal and the Silver Award! What a great duo! The Olivia Model Home at River Mill won for Best Bath, and while I’m not necessarily fond of getting a bath, even I might enjoy getting a bath here! I’d be one pampered pooch, that’s for sure!

So morale is already pretty high around here at the moment. I’m so happy to be a part of this Richmond home builder team and am super duper proud of everyone here. Great job, Team! Woof woof!
