The 69th edition of the Parade of Homes is taking place right now, running through October 25. Each weekend, from noon to 5 pm, the Parade of Homes offers a fantastic way to see a wide variety of new home construction in the Greater Richmond area, with 37 new homes on display, located in counties like Chesterfield, Henrico, Goochland, Hanover, King William, New Kent and Powhatan. You’ll see a range of floor plans, outstanding craftsmanship, innovative ideas, and inspiring design for homes ranging from the low $200s to more than $1 million.

At LifeStyle Home Builders, we’re proud to show two of our homes: the Sutherland in the Highlands Glen Kilchurn community in Chesterfield, and the Olivia at River Mill community in Glen Allen.

The Sutherland is a spacious, airy, and welcoming home design. You’ll find our model home at 12612 Kernmack Drive in Chesterfield. The Olivia model, located at 10830 Porter Park Lane in Glen Allen is a versatile home with a number of design options if you choose to build your own. At heart, it’s a two-story home with four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a two-car garage, and 3,728 square feet. This home also has a study right off the main entry, as well as a powder room, making it an ideal home office area, especially for those who may need to see clients at their home office on occasion. The entry foyer area serves as a great entrance to the home office, without requiring visitors to go through the rest of the home. Further back, you’ll find the heart of the home with the large kitchen that includes a walk-in pantry and a morning room, and the large family room with a stunning coffered ceiling. There’s also a spacious mudroom with storage and drop zones separated from view of the rest of the home, but conveniently located at the interior garage entrance.

Upstairs, you’ll find the large bedrooms, including the owner’s suite, which has a number of design layouts to give you just the room you want, including an option with your own retreat or an extra large spa bathroom. Other design options available include an unfinished third floor, game room, guest suite, butler’s pantry and dining room, and more, all depending on your family’s specific needs.
