According to the American Pet Products Association’s 2017-2018 National Pet Owners Survey, 68% of US households own a pet, with dogs being the most common, residing in about 60 million households. That means when you’re looking for a new home, it’s not just the two-legged family members that need to be considered; the four-legged members (and those with fins and scales and feathers) also need to be taken into consideration. Fortunately, if you’re looking for a home builder in Chesterfield who understands the needs of pets as well as people, LifeStyle Home Builders is there for you. After all, they’ve recently added Bevel, a Boston terrier to their team. She’s sure to provide excellent insight.
Bevel has been hired on as personal assistant to the president, Kevin McNulty, who also happens to be Bevel’s dad. But like any family business, she helps out wherever she’s needed, including helping out her mom, Lori McNulty, the Design Studio manager.
Although Bevel’s only been with the company (and the family) for a little over two months, she’s already enjoying her new role. As she says, “I’m a newbie, because I’m a newbie to this world, so I learn something new every day!” That kind of passion for learning and her willingness to help out wherever needed is what makes her such a popular member of the team. Well, that and her big smile, adorable ears, and overall cuteness. After all, she’s already certified in cuteness, cuddles and napping.
Bevel also looks great in her safety and tool vest and shows them off when visiting construction sites. “My favorite part of my job is posing for the fun photoshoots and I love getting to go on site to supervise with my dad!” She goes on to describe some of the other great perks, saying, “I love meeting new people everyday and getting to see them build their dream home!” She’s also quick to add that she likes belly rubs, treats, and anyone who throws her toys for her. And did she mention treats? “I’ll do anything for a treat!”
Bevel may occasionally — ok, frequently — nap on the job, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t a team player. Kelsie Ireland, the New Home Navigator, says of Bevel, “Bevel is such a joy to be around. She lights up every room she runs into and keeps us all on our toes with her contagious energy! She is also very photogenic which makes my job a whole lot easier.”
Most importantly, she’s really made her boss and dad proud. “I have been so impressed with Bevel since she started,” says Kevin McNulty. “She was brand new to our industry – heck, she was brand new to this world! But, she’s adopted her role here with passion and dedication. She’s learned a lot very quickly. I was excited to see that she has recently learned to get into the truck all by herself. She’s really making progress every day!”
With that kind of drive and determination, it’s no wonder she has hopes of working her way up to the executive leadership team. “I think I could make my best contributions one day as the company’s Chief Morale Officer. It just really fits my personality. Some of my friends are also training to become therapy dogs. I could see myself doing that. I have a real heart for helping people!”
She’s already helping people, working with her dad on a current charity project to help the homeless. Just like her parents, she wants to give back to the community that has given them so much already.
Whether it’s helping clients, fellow team members, or the community, Bevel is there to aid in any way she can, putting a smile on faces and putting everyone at ease. If you’re looking for a home builder in Chesterfield, you couldn’t ask for a better builder than LifeStyle Home Builders, and be sure to give Bevel some belly rubs while you’re there. Oh, and treats! Don’t forget the treats!Tags: homebuilder chesterfield va, new homes chesterfield va
