Summer Is a Great Time to Move

June 10, 2019 11:09 pm

For many people, the ideal summer involves sandy beaches, cold drinks, and fun vacations. It doesn’t usually include moving to a new home. Yet if you’re seriously considering purchasing one of the homes for sale in the near future, now is the time to act. You can still enjoy plenty of summer fun, but you may just be doing it from a brand new beautiful home!

LifeStyle Home Builders has a number of move-in ready properties available in communities such as Crimson Crest in Chesterfield, Patriots Landing in Quinton, Rountrey in Midlothian, Summer Lake in Moseley, and The Highlands Lake Margaret in Chesterfield. That means you have your pick of quality built homes ready and waiting for you.

Even if you have a home to sell as part of moving, now is the time to get your home on the market. Summer is the peak selling time and you’re more likely to find multiple buyers interested, which can potentially lead to a great final offer on your home, which can further help fund your brand new home.

Virginia summers are warm, but the winters can be cold and even icy, making moving more challenging. Moving during the summer is safer and you probably have more free time available to pack, move, and settle in to your new home. When fall and winter arrive, you’re likely to be too busy with holidays, school, and other time consuming activities.

Most importantly, if you have kids, summer if the best time to move. Moving during the school year, even if they’re staying in the same school, is tiring and difficult when you add in packing and unpacking, plus homework and after-school activities. Moving during the school year when it means moving to a new school is even worse. Lesson plans vary from school to school and moving during the year makes it harder to catch up. It can also result in some favorite after-school activities and sports having to be skipped for a year. Starting a new school at the beginning of the year is much easier for your children as they adjust to a new environment and hopefully find it easier to make new friends.

So, if you’re even remotely considering purchasing one of the homes for sale in Virginia, act now. Contact LifeStyle Home Builders and discover the variety of move-in ready homes they have available in some truly outstanding communities. As fall rolls around, you’ll be glad you didn’t wait.
